| The aim of The Irish Legion is to promote comradeship with ex-serving members of The Irish Defence Forces. We also endeavour to foster and maintain good relations with similar organisations / associations within Europe, USA and other Countries striving for peace throughout the world. |
| The Irish Legion is a Non-Political Association and shall NOT be aligned to any Political Party |
| Where the welfare of an ex-service person is a concern, the matter should be addressed directly to the appropriate Organisation responsible for such matters.
